We took Grant to the Leavenworth County fair to show him all the animals and for us to eat our weight in fried fair food! Grant loved looking at all the animals and the strange noises that each one made. I think his favorite were the cows because they kept their distance from him and he was still able to touch them. We went through all the different 4H and FFA exhibits of pigs, cows, lambs, goats, chickens, and rabbits. It brought back fun memories of when I was in FFA showing my pigs at the county fair! After checking out all the animals it was time to hit the food stands! We had burgers and of course for dessert we had the best fair food of all, funnel cake!!! Overall, it was a fun evening at the fair and it was great to see Grant have so much fun!
