Easter

Grant and Coleman were beyond stoked to see what the Easter bunny had brought for them.  Okay, who I am kidding, Coleman could have cared less.  In fact he was exceptionally sleepy on Easter and slept ALL day!  But Grant was more than ready to rip into his basket and see what goodies were in store for him.  When he finally got his hands on his basket he carefully pulled every single item out and tossed it onto the floor before moving onto the next item.  He doesn't appreciate the matching swimsuits and flip-flops with his brother but as a momma, I am so excited to have my matching little men at the pool this summer!!

Instead of doing our traditional Easter brunch this year we had our friends over to our house for Easter dinner.  The Corcoran and James family celebrated the day with us.  Even in my attempt to not overcook for the day I still cooked way too much!

Grant and Wyatt did a mini-Easter egg hunt before we ate dinner.  They very patiently waited at the front door scouting out each location of the eggs!  As soon as we opened the door for the boys to go outside Grant knew exactly what to do.  He went to his first egg, shook it until it opened, then proceeded to shovel his face with candy while headed to the next egg!  Clearly this is my kid because he has a serious sweet tooth!

Dinner was great and Amy didn't disappoint with some amazing desserts. It pays to have friends who grew up with a parent who is a pastry chef! :)  Easter was a ton of fun and we are once again blessed with great friends who are willing to celebrate the holidays with us!
