This year we decided that we wanted to go to Kentucky to spend Thanksgiving with Jeff's family. We also wanted Grant to meet his cousins and see the rest of the Porter family. Jeff's schedule for school was rather ambiguous when we booked our tickets so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked but still it was a great trip, although short.
Grant couldn't get enough of his cousins Brandon and Stephanie. From the moment everyone picked us up from the airport Grant could not stop laughing and watching both his cousins be silly! He is in love with them and followed them everywhere. Stephanie was in full little momma mode and made sure that Grant never got into anything he wasn't suppose to and she was the best at carrying him around and answering everyone of his demands for water or snacks!
Thanksgiving my mother-in-law made an amazing dinner and went all out. In typical fashion we all ate more than our fair share. Grant on the other hand decided that his Thanksgiving meal would consist mostly of cheese sticks, apple sauce, and fruit. While he didn't demonstrate a true Porter ability to eat on Thanksgiving he still made sure to dig in on the desserts...a Filla characteristic for sure!
