The Porter Family: Trick or Treating

Happy Halloween!!! Living on post is a new ball game when it comes to trick-or-treating. Since we all live in town homes trick-or-treaters love to swarm the neigbhorhood because they can hit up so many houses at once! We loved it too because there were hundreds of kids out and about running around in the best costumes. We did however, have the cutest and best dressed trick-or-treater!

Grant abandoned the Stay Puft costume to go as a lawn gnome. He seriously couldn't have been any cuter if he tried!!! I did attempt to put the beard portion of his costume on him but he was not having any part of it. Still, he was the cutest bar none!

There is only so much candy that a 14 month can eat so we made it a point to only hit up two houses on Halloween. We did of course venture around to all our friends houses so they could see him only to fake trick-or-treat!

The weather was perfect so we actually brought patio furniture to the front of our house and just sat in the yard to pass out candy. Grant loved it and helped himself to our candy bowl all night until he had to go to bed. Plus anytime that Grant has free range to run outside he is in heaven. His favorite is to collect sticks and rocks, only confirming that having him be a lawn gnome was the perfect costume for him!
