Before we left Colorado we stayed with the Anderson's as our house was being packed. They were absolutely more than gracious extending every inch of their home to us! We lucked out by hitting the friend lotto with them!!! One night before we left we went out to dinner and then went back to the Anderson's house for a smores buffet! After filling up on smores we were once again spoiled with more love from everyone. Paige put together a slide show of our time in Colorado and they gave us a frame with a picture from our Easter brunch! Ironically, I had given them all the same picture that night too! Great minds and friends really do think alike! We are going to miss them all so much, but we know we will always be friends!!!
We now officially left Colorado and have moved one state over to Kansas. When Jeff and I moved to Colorado we had only been briefly engaged. Leaving Colorado we departed with a much bigger crew: married (so officially together), Sydney who is literally the world's best dog, and Grant who has forever made our lives better! Colorado really has been good to us and has given us the best chapter of our lives. All the fun and crazy memories of Colorado really made living in a land lock state hail in comparison to the joy it brought! Colorado made us a family and we really cannot wait to see what kind of adventures Kansas will bring!
The drive over was a rather quick nine hours and Grant slept most of the drive! Sydney rode with Jeff in the truck, she is adjusting better each day. Grant of course is doing great! The one pitfall about living here verses Colorado is that here there is humidity and they are the middle of a heatwave, perfect timing! Guess it is better to jump in feet first anyway!!!
