Fort Leavenworth did their annual tree lighting ceremony in the park. Kansas is finally starting to show some signs of winter and we are able to dress in cold weather gear. The night of the tree lighting was no exception. We bundled up with our friends and headed out to the ceremony. There were lots of cupcakes, hot chocolate, and Christmas caroling from the elementary school!
Grant's face was priceless when the countdown for the lighting began. He started looking all around in confusion as to why everyone was counting. When the lights came on his jaw dropped and he was AMAZED at them all. Watching him solidified to Jeff and I that Christmas is only going to become more perfect as the we get to watch it through his eyes.
